Who's going to save our children?

Wake up my sisters and brothers. Our children are dying. Our children are crying. Our children are lying, stealing and killing. They are disrespecting our elders. They are being disobedient to their parents. How much longer will this go on? When will we take our children back? They are calling out for love. Love comes in many forms. Truth is love. Firm discipline, not beatings, is love. Sharing good things is love. A home-cooked meal is love. Giving your time is love. A pat on the back, a gentle hug, a foot massage are some more examples of love. Saying "No" in some cases is love. Teaching, if done right. is love. We have got to take more time with our children. The television and the streets have both been bad instruments of learning.
Love, that is the operative word here. First you have to love yourself. How can you, when you don't know yourself. The majority of our children are being taught that we began to exist as slaves and that the anglo-saxon race is superior. That way of thinking has got to change. We had great kingdoms while they were still in the caves of Europe. Just because a man comes, takes your fortune, your woman, your children and your land, does that make him superior? No! empatically not. He just has more tricks up his sleeve than you could have ever imagined. And you, with your loving and forgivng spirit just says maybe theses things were not meant to be for me. You are so wrong. It was yours from the beginning and in the end it will be yours. You have given up your precious treasure too easily. You are strong. You can not just sit back and wait for someone or something to happen. You have to make it happen. You have to stand up for something because if you don't you will fall for anything. Our children are hungry. Feed them.
